Combine with a minimal 1,371 SF footprint oriented to maximize solar gain, radiant floor heating, solar power, insulation values that exceed code requirements, and a low-slope roof with large overhangs, this residence was designed to both minimize its energy demands and blend smoothly into the gentle surrounding slope.
